Mr Choy’s Howin Group has an extensive history in architectural consultancy, property development, hospitality and engineering research and development. In conjunction with the Howin Group, JPM Projects Pty Ltd was established as a Project Management company in the 1980s by a team of highly experienced professionals, resulting in the completion of some of Sydney CBD’s landmark buildings. In 1991, Howin Group acquired 100% interest in JPM Projects Pty Ltd. JPM was Project Manager and 50% shareholder of the $600 million Market City project in Haymarket Sydney and has successfully undertaken large-scale projects both in Australia and overseas. The JPM team has developed the exciting concept of The Dreamtime Park. Dominic was listed in the top 300 most successful individuals in “Australia Business” publication for several years and was listed in “Forbes” magazine.

Project Director
Nic enjoyed a successful career as a senior executive for 37 years in governance, financial management and ministerial briefings for the Commonwealth and ACT Governments. He oversaw a range of social policy areas, in particular Aboriginal and multicultural affairs. He also supported the Chief Minister and other relevant Ministers as the senior executive with responsibility for seniors, veterans, youth, volunteers, women and community disaster recovery. He oversaw many infrastructure projects for the Aboriginal and multicultural communities. He retired from the public sector in November 2016 and now acts as consultant to the private sector.
Under the authority of Queen Elizabeth II, Nic received the Public Service Medal in 1998 and was Awarded the Australian Centenary Medal in 2000.

Mark Ella AM

Mark is a Gadigal man and one of Australia’s greatest rugby union players, captaining the Wallabies. Recognised for his sporting achievements, Mark was named Young Australian of the Year in 1982 and a member of the Order of Australia (AM). After retiring from rugby, Mark commenced a career in public relations and marketing, championing the cause for young Indigenous sports stars. Mark co-authored four autobiographies and also contributed as a freelance journalist to The Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian, ABC – Rugby, Sky Sports and The Big Sports Breakfast since he retired in 1984. Mark sits on or has sat on a number of boards including The Australia Day board for NSW and National, Rio Tinto Indigenous Foundation, Television Censorship Board, Indigenous Readers and ANZ Stadium.

Patrick Brookes has practiced as an architect for more than 30 years. Winner of many residential and civil design awards, Patrick has been a member of the Howin Group functioning as Design Director on many of JPM Projects’ major developments. Gerard Eakin has 35 years’ experience in the Australian equity market. Previously Head of Australian Equities at Rothschild Australia Asset Management. Gerard was a pioneer of institutional small cap investing in Australia and has a particular passion in uniting great ideas with the capital needed to turn visions into reality. Currently the National Coordinator for Tackling Indigenous Smoking and Chancellor of the University of Canberra, Professor Calma previously served as the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Justice Commissioner and the Race Discrimination Commissioner.
